Grants Practice Manager, Power System Engineering
An unprecedented number of grants to support new utility projects currently are available to utilities thanks to federal funding through the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (ILJA) and the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and administered by the Department of Energy, the USDA and its Rural Utilities Service, and the Department of Transportation. Join us for a review of the latest grant opportunities which can provide utilities with access to no- or low-cost financing for electrical infrastructure and new renewable energy projects. We’ll navigate the myriad of details defining the various grant programs as well as discuss how regulatory agencies can help maximize the benefits.
