Michael Mucha is executive director of and chief engineer for the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District. For several years, Michael taught about emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities for the InterPro (part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Engineering) program, “Advanced Asset Management Practices for Water and Wastewater Utilities and Water Reclamation.” He also taught adaptive leadership for Edgewood College’s (Madison WI) Social Innovation and Sustainability Leadership Graduate Program.

“The purpose of this session is to explore frameworks that foster the dramatic and necessary improvement in the performance and resiliency of physical infrastructure. Two frameworks will be presented to help utility owners, planners, engineers, communities, contractors, and other infrastructure stakeholders to implement more cost-effective, resource-efficient, and adaptable long-term infrastructure investments.”

Registration is required for this free WPUI Members-Only event.
