    Engineering assistant to work with:
    1. work with Transmission Planning Engineers with data analysis, researching of operational data, synthesizing study results and report development on transmission planning topics related to the Duke Energy-Carolinas transmission system and
    2. work with Asset Management Project Manager to

      1. establish job plans in Maximo,
      2. coordinate maintenance schedules with Duke Energy nuclear facilities for the nuclear switchyards, and
      3. maintain a SharePoint site for communications between the Power Delivery and Nuclear Generation Departments for switchyard activities and information.

    POSITION TITLE: Principle Technician – Distribution Testing
    DEPARTMENT: Distribution Testing
    REPORTS TO (Title) Regional Lead or Equipment Dist. Testing Lead

    JOB SUMMARY Performs and evaluates Distribution system maintenance and installation tests on electrical and electronic equipment (ATOs, Network protectors, capacitors, regulators, small power transformers, communication equipment, power factor analysis, feeder voltage profiles, feeder device coordination, cable fault locating, generator deployments, power quality investigations). Works independently and seeks guidance when appropriate.
