Registration Information

Course fees

All course fees include instruction, course materials, and refreshment breaks. Some programs also include breakfast and/or lunch. Please see specific programs for fee details.

Payment policy

Payment is handled through the University of Wisconsin registration system. When registering you’ll have the option of being billed or paying by credit card online.

Cancellation and refund policy

WPUI reserves the right to cancel courses or substitute speakers.
Member no-shows and individuals can cancel their registration up to or on the first day of the course will be refunded the full cost of the program less an administrative fee.
Non-members can cancel their registration up to two weeks prior to the event for a full refund (less admin fees) and half the course fee up till the day prior to start of the event as shown on the agenda.
Substitutions may be made at any time with no penalty.
Cancellations must be made in writing and mailed or e-mailed to WPUI.
WPUI is not responsible for travel arrangements made by the course participant.

Confirmation

Confirmation letters or e-mail confirmation will be sent to registrants prior to the program. Individuals who do not receive this notification should call WPUI at (608) 890-1815 to ensure registration in the course.
Registrations received within one week of the course will not be confirmed by mail. Those individuals should double-check that there is room in the class before making travel arrangements.

The activities of the Institute follow the "Wisconsin Idea" of applying the resources of the University to meet the need for information outside of the University's boundary. The Institute achieves its mission through the exchange, creation, integration, transfer and application of knowledge. It provides forums for discussion, dialog, and debate on public policy issues. It engages innovative programming enhanced by creative use of advanced information technologies and effective communication techniques. Furthermore, it fosters research that enriches and complements its information and education programs and services.
