Wendy Warren Grapentine, Director

 

Wendy Warren Grapentine joined the Wisconsin Public Utility Institute on May 1st, 2002. She is a native of Madison and came to the UW Business School after 11 years on Madison television.  Wendy was the evening news anchor for WKOW-TV Channel 27 and created the Medical Minute.

Wendy holds a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Colorado in Boulder.

She has been involved with numerous community organizations and their events over the years, including:
American Heart Association
ARC- Dane County
Breakfast Rotary’s Rooftop Picnic at UW Children’s Hospital
Colonial Club of Sun Prairie
HospiceCare, Inc.
March of Dimes
Madison Junior Women’s Club
MDA Harley Ride and Telethon
Meals on Wheels
Madison Junior League
United Cerebral Palsy

Wendy looks forward to applying her media and facilitating skills to a new arena, one that affects all of our lives here in Wisconsin.  She is delighted to be continuing to serve the community and the state that she loves.
